What They Say

  • Vicky Porter

Thank you so much for the fabulous evening my uncle Joe and I and all his guests had at Glenmore House on 4th July. We have received endless comments from guests saying what a great time they had, praising the service, complementing the food, remarking on the Glenhouse a house itself as a venue. Faye, your warm, friendly, calm and professional manner during initial enquiries right through planning and organising the event itself instilled much appreciated confidence in you and Glenmore's team and took any worries or concern one might have had out of the equation. I couldn't have asked for more and very much appreciate your help and your lovely manner throughout the whole evening, without flagging even though you must have been exhausted, but if you were it certainly didn't show! Team, 'thank-you', even a very BIG 'thank-you' doesn't say enough by half to express my appreciation of your excellent service and how hard you worked. The moment I walked into the suite in the afternoon and met the staff as they set the tables, their warm smiles and very nice attitude filled the room with a welcoming and happy feel. Everyone of you gave exceptional service, very pleasant, very efficient and with a great level of focus and commitment, it showed that you cared that all the guests had what they needed and enjoyed themselves. Thank you very much too to Robert and Freya - it really was all hands-on-deck with someone focusing and supporting on each aspect and area the whole evening!! That brings me last, but not least to the catering team. The food was excellent - I had wonderful comments from everyone remarking on how delicious each dish was, how fresh and the good size portions. The food really was superb.

Dear Faye and Robert, Thank you so much for the fantastic venue and service that you provided on Saturday evening. I have already received lots of positive praise regarding your accommodating nature, the food and venue from the guests and most importantly Peter, who the night was for. Many thanks again and I look forward to working with you in the future.

I didn't get married on 25th October 2014, but had a small dinner party for a 70th birthday for just 14 people. I believe that the service, food and ambience would not have been any better had we had 200 guests. Without exception everyone was highly complementary about the standards. Freya, Jill and the chef excelled. I will certainly be using Glenmore House again. and again...
